About Dr. Joseph
I grew up in a small town in Southwestern Ontario and completed my undergraduate studies in Visual Arts at Western University before attending Saint James School of Medicine. There, I gained invaluable experience working with vulnerable populations having done my medical clerkship in healthcare facilities across Chicago, Illinois.
Subsequently, I completed my postgraduate Family Medicine training at UBC, and was the Lead Resident (formerly known as Chief Resident) at the St. Paul's Hospital IMG site.
I am thrilled to be practicing Family Medicine in the beautiful North Shore, which I am lucky enough to call home. I look forward to giving back to my community by providing comprehensive longitudinal care to patients from all walks of life. Outside of full-scope Family Medicine, I have a special interest in preventative medicine, dermatology, pediatric care (0-19 years), and promoting Women's health.
One of my other passions is teaching. I am a Clinical Instructor at UBC and enjoy mentoring future generations of Family Doctors!
Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our two children. I also love drawing and painting whenever I have the chance.
